A simple starting point: Use accounts and content you are authorized to access, keep backups of important work, and review AI-generated text before relying on it.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of DocCove and this product website, provided by Velion Arc LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Questions can be sent to support@zyntrixal.com.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use DocCove on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to do so. The service is not intended for children under 13.
2. The service
DocCove is an independent macOS application that provides a workspace for connected Google Drive accounts, document access, local templates and drafts, file transfers, and optional AI text generation and revision. Features depend on your app version, internet connection, Google permissions, and the availability of third-party services.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the application for its intended purpose, subject to these terms and any applicable distribution-store license. This website provides product information and support contact details; it does not sell subscriptions or process payments.
3. Purchases, if offered
The following billing provisions apply only if a paid app, feature, or plan is actually offered through a distribution platform. They do not mean a subscription is required to browse this website. The platform's purchase screen identifies the price, currency, taxes, included features, and any trial or billing period before you confirm a purchase. Review that information and the platform's terms before paying.
The platform or payment provider handles the payment information and transaction. This website does not collect card details or take payment. Any future billing arrangement will be disclosed at the point of purchase; these terms do not authorize a charge without your agreement.
4. Subscriptions, if offered
If you choose an auto-renewing plan, the renewal schedule, price, and cancellation deadline shown at purchase apply. It continues until you cancel through the platform that bills you. A trial may convert to a paid plan if the offer says so and you do not cancel by its stated deadline. Any price or plan change is subject to the platform's notice and consent rules and applicable law.
For a subscription billed by Apple, use your Apple Account's subscription controls; see Apple's cancellation instructions. If a different provider bills you, use that provider's controls. Uninstalling DocCove, removing a Google account, or contacting support does not itself cancel a platform subscription.
5. Cancellation and refunds
If you cancel a paid plan, access generally continues until the paid period ends, subject to the purchase terms, any trial rules, and applicable law. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not by itself promise a refund. A refund, reversal, or expiration may end access to the relevant paid features under the platform's rules.
For purchases billed by Apple, request a refund through Apple's process described in its refund guidance. Eligibility and decisions depend on the billing platform and applicable consumer law. Contact the provider shown on your receipt for purchases billed elsewhere. These terms do not remove any mandatory refund, withdrawal, or other consumer rights.
Save or export important local work before cancellation, a refund, an account change, or uninstalling the app. Canceling a plan does not instruct us to delete your Google Drive files.
6. Accounts and permissions
You are responsible for your Google accounts, device security, network connection, available storage, and deciding which accounts to connect. Only connect accounts and access content you are authorized to use. Google permissions allow the application to perform the operations you request; some operations change cloud files and can affect collaborators. Account policies, storage quotas, and permissions set by Google or your organization also apply.
Check the selected account, file, destination, and export format before confirming an operation. You can disconnect accounts in the app and revoke access through your Google Account settings. Disconnecting does not delete your Drive files.
7. Your content and privacy
You retain your rights in your files, instructions, drafts, templates, and other content. You authorize the processing and transmission necessary to perform the features you request, including sending content you submit for AI processing to the relevant service providers. This permission does not transfer ownership of your files to us or grant us a right to sell them. Our Privacy Policy explains the data used for these features, its storage, and your controls.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to use and submit content. Do not upload or submit content that violates another person's intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights.
8. File operations and backups
Keep independent backups of important work. Local drafts, cloud copies, and exported files may differ, and DocCove does not provide a backup or disaster-recovery service. Conversions may change formatting or omit features unsupported by the destination format. A transfer may fail or remain incomplete if network access, storage, authorization, or a provider becomes unavailable.
Review destructive actions and verify a saved, uploaded, downloaded, or exported file before deleting another copy. Canceling an operation or closing the app does not necessarily undo changes already accepted by Google or another service. Google controls the recovery options for cloud files. We cannot guarantee recovery of deleted, overwritten, corrupted, or unsaved work; this does not limit obligations or remedies that applicable law requires.
9. AI features
AI features are optional and use third-party model services. When you request generation or revision, the submitted instructions and included text are transmitted as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit passwords, access tokens, or sensitive content you are not authorized to share.
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or similar to output provided to others. Review and verify the output before saving, publishing, or relying on it. You are responsible for your use of the result. AI output is not professional advice and carries no guarantee of accuracy, uniqueness, or suitability. Availability, models, and usage limits may change.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to break the law, infringe rights, distribute malicious content, gain unauthorized access, interfere with systems or other users, evade access controls or usage limits, or misrepresent your identity or authorization. Do not reverse engineer or bypass security protections except where applicable law expressly permits it.
We may restrict access to hosted features where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security issues, or legal obligations.
11. Third-party services
Google, Cloudflare, OpenRouter, model providers, and any software distribution platform operate independently. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We do not control their availability, account restrictions, data handling, or changes to their APIs.
DocCove is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Our application and website design, code, and branding remain the property of their respective rights holders; these terms do not transfer those rights to you.
12. Availability and changes
We may improve, change, limit, or discontinue features, and may interrupt hosted services for maintenance or other operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every file type, conversion, or operation is supported. We will provide notice where required by law. Any paid entitlement is also subject to its disclosed purchase terms and mandatory consumer protections.
13. Stopping use and restricted access
You may stop using DocCove at any time. If a subscription applies, cancel it separately through the billing platform. Revoking Google access and deleting local data are also separate steps. See our Privacy Policy for data controls and deletion options.
We may suspend or end access to hosted features for a material violation of these terms, a security threat, or a legal requirement. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to address the issue; urgent security or legal circumstances may require immediate action. This does not authorize us to erase your Google Drive files. Billing, refund, and statutory rights remain subject to the provisions above.
14. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for problems caused by third-party services, unauthorized use of your accounts, or content you submit or act on.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
15. Updates and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will give additional notice where required. If you do not accept updated terms, discontinue use of the service.
If any provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Applicable mandatory law and consumer protections take precedence over conflicting terms. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve questions or concerns.
